I was lucky to test this week the brand new SanDisk key, Cruzer Swift, one week after having tested the Cruzer Fit model.

This is an astonishing key since its design is really not exceptionnal, it is staid, and there is no diode to shw the data transfer, no strap and a fragile-looking plastic in spite of a good finishing.
However, it is unique thanks to its colours, very bright red and pure black which are typical of SanDisk, but also to a black part barely bigger than a piece of 1 euro (please see the gallery below), and a very light weight. It is particularly original thanks to a cap which is an integral par of the key itself.
This clever cap slides along the key :  one may pull the cap so as to let the tip appear. Then, one may turn the cap over and reclipse this one. It is impossible to lose it !
Eventually, this system includes a small hole for you to put the Cruzer Swift on a keyhole.

Low-grade performances.
Indeed, performances are not so good : 4,51 MB/s as far as high writing performances are concerned, and average performances of 4,2 MB/s. The reading speeds is around 16MB/s. SanDisk compensates for it by proposing aggressive prices for its keys (have a look below).

The key has a five-year guarantee and is compatible with Windows & Mac. The official constructive data sheet is available here. The SecureAccess  software is provided with the key. We already talked about it concerning the SanDisk Ultra key.
