This USB Flash Drive is not the last model of the Patriot brand, it dates from september 2009, but it is still very interesting on several aspects. Let’s discover it.

The Xporter XT Boost key model is an all-land key : it is completely covered with a rubber skin, and thus even more resistant to shocks (if falling from a bag or a pocket, which is normally fatal to a hard-plastic key). It has a rubber cap which is useful to protect the key from water in case it is put on the washing machine if the pockets have not been emptied.

As far as performances are concerned, we can talk about average : faster than most of the keys, without however any record. Previously well-known to be the fastest, the Xporter XT Boost remains in the race with a 10 MB/s writing speed (thanks to our tests), with highs up to 17,7MB/s, and 27MB/s reading with highs up to 30MB/s.  Tha packaging announces  « 200x » i.e. 30 Mo/s, pari tenu.
