LaCie – Christofle Pebble

This USB Flash Drive, designed by Christofle (well-known goldsmith, famous for its silver sets) and LaCie, is a silver-plated round. Put on a table (preferably a wooden table) one must admit that the object sparkles. According to Christofle’s words about it :  it is « dazzling, soft and precious like a gem ». The Flash Drive is put on a lovely casket, and protected by a material case.

Thus, we are clearly in the Luxury category.

As far as performances are concerned, particularly the writing speed (i.e. the information you are going to put on your Flash Drive) are not the main point of this key, and the price is excessively high : 100€ for 4 GB ! For this price, the Flash Drive would have deserved a much faster USB chip.
